Customers can start placing orders for the Powerwall 3 through our energy experts and they will be able to assist you with your battery storage journey.

How much are the installation costs for the Powerwall 3?
For more details and a quote, please do get in touch with our team. From the 1st February, the Government announced a 0% VAT relief on battery storage which homeowners can take advantage of.

Can I add Powerwall 3 to my Powerwall 2
Powerwall 3 can only be added to other Powerwall 3 batteries and therefore unable to be added to Powerwall 2 or Powerwall+ batteries.

Crafted for modular and scalable installation, the Powerwall 3 allows for the stacking of Powerwall 3 batteries only, enabling you to conceptualise your power storage in cubic feet rather than square feet. Should you choose to initially install a single battery, homeowners have the flexibility to do so. As your power requirements increase the option to expand stored power may be considered.

What are the main differences between the Powerwall 2 and the Powerwall 3
The biggest difference with the Powerwall 3 compared to the Powerwall 2 is a higher power output of 11.04KW continuous and an integrated solar inverter. Check out our comparison table here for Powerwall 2 vs Powerwall 3.

Should I upgrade from Powerwall 2 to the Powerwall 3?

Tesla Powerwall 3 brings substantial improvements in continuous power output, load start capacity, integrated inverter, EV charger support, and a maximum solar DC input of 20 kW. If your household has high energy demands exceeding a 5 kW continuous load, plans to significantly expand your solar PV system, or want to install an integrated EV charger solution, upgrading to the Powerwall 3 could be highly beneficial.

However, if your existing Powerwall 2 satisfies your backup needs and you don’t require the higher power output or increased solar capacity, the upgrade might not be worth the expense since both models offer the same 13.5kWh energy capacity and a 10-year warranty.

What is the warranty period for a Powerwall 3?
Likewise to the Powerwall 2, the warranty period for Powerwall 3 is 10 years.
